Calcium

Why is calcium important?

Calcium is most often associated with healthy bones and teeth, but it also plays an important role in blood clotting, helping muscles to contract, and regulating normal nerve function. Many people think dairy products are the only rich sources of calcium, but there are so many other options, such as seeds and beans, and some nuts.
